Power Skating Clinic – Unlock Your Full Skating Potential!

Skating is the foundation of ice hockey, and our Power Skating Clinic is designed to help hockey players of all skill levels improve their speed, balance, and edge control. Full hockey equipment is required. Through structured hockey drills and expert instruction, participants will refine their stride efficiency, enhance agility, and develop explosive acceleration to gain a competitive advantage on the ice.

This high-intensity ice hockey clinic focuses on:
✅ Proper skating mechanics for improved speed and endurance
✅ Edge work and agility to enhance maneuverability
✅ Balance and body control for stability in game situations
✅ Quick starts, stops, and transitions to outskate opponents
✅ Stride efficiency to maximize power with every push

Full hockey equipment is required
This is a hockey skating clinic, not a learn-to-skate session. Players should be able to skate unassisted and participate in regular hockey practices.

All hockey skill levels are welcome
This clinic is about improving individual skating skills, not evaluating or ranking players. House and travel players are both a great fit. Players do not need to be elite skaters. They just need to be ready to work, listen, and try new things.

Whether you're looking to improve your first-step quickness, tighten up your turns, or build confidence in your skating ability, this hockey clinic will help you take your game to the next level.

Prerequisites & Expectations

This clinic is designed for youth hockey players, not beginner skaters or learn-to-skate participants. To get the most out of the session, players should:

  • Have a birth year between 2012 and 2016
  • Be able to skate independently without assistance
  • Have prior ice hockey experience and currently playing on a house or travel hockey team at any skill level
  • Be comfortable skating forward and backward during practice
  • Be able to stop under control (does not need to be perfect)
  • Have experience participating in structured hockey practices
  • Be ready & willing to work on edge work, such as forwards/backwards transitions, tight turns, and directional changes
(players do not need to have mastered these skills)

This clinic is not appropriate for first-time skaters or players who are still learning basic balance and forward stride.
